Author and Illustrator

Lucy has illustrated all her life, and turned her hobby into becoming a published author, illustrator and entrepreneur. She set up her personalised book company FromLucy&Co as an outlet for her constant flow of ideas and her unique imagination.

Her love of nature and the great outdoors has influenced her work throughout her career, producing many celebrated books, prints and gifts, some of which have ended up in Royal households.

She is constantly curious about the world around her and is always eager to learn about anything and everything. Lucy is never happier than when she is walking in the countryside, or having a post-hike ginger beer with her family. She thrives on tea, smiles, kindness, determination and loyalty, and doesn’t need to be asked twice if she wants to dance.

Creators of Hedgehugs

A chance visit to a pub in North Cornwall led to Lucy and Steve meeting and marrying two years later. Over the course of their lives together, they have had two children, moved from Brighton back to their native West Country, opened a BMX bike shop and become published children’s book authors.

Things really took off for them both when they started their personalised books and gifts business FromLucy&Co. Initially a personalised framed artwork and greetings card company, they soon evolved to become one of the leading personalised book creators in the world, writing, illustrating and producing beautiful books for customers around the globe. Their work has been translated into most languages, and FromLucy&Co enjoy great success across Europe and into Canada, USA and Australia.

Together, Steve and Lucy enjoy walks and bike rides with their family, and are always very happy at a vintage nostalgia festival or dancing to 50s music!

Author and TV Presenter

Steve has been a television presenter for over 25 years, getting his break on CBBC where he hosted the late 90s version of the Broom Cupboard and shows including Live & Kicking. Since then he has appeared on many channels and programmes, the longest running of which is ITV’s This Morning as their gifts, gadgets and toys expert.

A keen rock ’n’ roll piano player, Steve performs with many bands including Rocker Division at the Goodwood Revival, and in any spare time he has left, enjoys mountain biking on his beloved Dartmoor (and a cold beer afterwards!).
